Exclusive: Patrice Motsepe in Algiers this week

The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, will make his first official visit to Algeria at the end of next week. A 24-hour visit during which the boss of African football accompanied by the general secretary of CAF, Véron Mosengo-Omba, will have the opportunity to meet the new president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) Djahid Zefizef, freshly elected, yesterday Thursday. Several questions will be on the menu of this visit and in particular CHAN 2023 which Algeria is to organize in January 2023. A first since 2014 and the visit of Cameroonian Issa Hayatou and the cancellation of the visit of FIFA President Gianni Infantino in February 2021.
