ex-VAFC: what becomes of Kevin Cabral?
[ad_1]
The American dream continues for Kevin Cabral. After leaving VAFC, the Frenchman signed a new MLS contract with Colorado Rapids. Explanation.
After his stint at VAFC, Kevin Cabral flew to the United States. And last winter, the 24-year-old left Los Angeles to join a new MLS team: Colorado Rapids. And from a personal point of view, it seems that the former VA player hasn’t yet managed to establish himself at his new club. Indeed, out of 26 league matches, Kevin Cabral made 19 appearances and started 11 times. In total, he played 901 minutes in MLS this season and scored 2 goals. But the season is not over yet. Kevin Cabral will still have the opportunity to gain playing time and increase his goal counter.
The current record of Kevin Cabral’s new team is 23 league matches, 3 wins, 10 draws and 10 losses. This performance puts Colorado Rapids in last place in the MLS Western Conference standings. In the cup too, the adventure ended for Kevin Cabral and his teammates. They were eliminated in the round of 16 of the US Open Cup by Slat Lake (0-1).
