Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, have invested in Blue Tribe, a local brand of plant-based meat. The couple will support the brand, which sells its products in several Indian cities, including Delhi and Mumbai.
Both Anushka and Virat shared the news on their respective social media pages. In the clip, the shock couple talk about their association with the Blue Tribe brand. In a joint statement, the couple said Blue Tribe’s palate- and planet-friendly alternatives are a « great way to savor the meat-eating experience, without leaving an impact on planet Earth. »

In the video, Anushka said that both of them are animal lovers and have decided to adopt a meatless lifestyle.
« Collaborating with Blue Tribe is a step to telling people how they can be more mindful and leave less of an impact on the planet by switching to a plant-based diet, » she said.
Endorsing Anushka’s view, Virat added that he is a foodie and wants to enjoy the kind of food he likes « without leaving a huge carbon footprint ».
