Ever more diminished Buccaneers against Chicago

Antonio Brown is on a notable list of absentees for this weekend.

The infirmary is always full at the reigning champion. Quite the contrary. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have confirmed that four incumbents will be missing when they face the Chicago Bears, on behalf of the seventh day of the regular season.

No return for Rob Gronkowski, injured in the ribs for four weeks now, nor for Lavonte David, already deprived of travel to Philadelphia, for ankle pain. Two other stars will therefore be absent this weekend: Richard Sherman (ischios) and Antonio Brown (ankle), both injured against the Eagles.

Targets and defensive backs are more heavily affected, Bucs side, since the start of the season. Receiver Scotty Miller and cornerbacks Carlton Davis and Sean Murphy-Bunting are still on the injured reserve. Richard Sherman was also called at the last minute to replace the latter.

Against the Bears, the Floridians will run after a sixth success in seven games, after winning last week in Philly.
