ESTAC – TFC: with a referee who will celebrate his very first in Ligue 1
[ad_1]
On Sunday, the last two Ligue 2 champions, Troyes and Toulouse, will face each other at 3:00 p.m. on behalf of the second day of Ligue 2 (live on Prime Video). The referee of the meeting will be Marc Bollengier.
This 30-year-old referee has a particularity. He was promoted twice, moving from National to Ligue 1 in two years. Indeed, as for the clubs, the best referees go up in rank, while the less well rated are demoted. Originally from Noordpeene, in Hauts-de-France, Bollengier led 21 Ligue 2 matches last season, including one for the TFC (4-1 victory at the Stadium against Dijon).
Since 2015, where he officiated in National 2, Marc Bollengier distributes an average of 3.56 yellow cards per game and barely 0.27 red cards (only 4 in 22 Ligue 2 games). Two years ago, this former goalkeeper when he was young was on the whistle of Créteil – Stade Briochin. On Sunday, he will discover Ligue 1.
