Confined to the Barça bench for several seasons now, Samuel Umtiti could rally England from the next winter transfer window.

The future of Samuel Umtiti seems to be emerging on the other side of the Channel. The defender champion of the world no longer has a place in Barcelona and he could bounce back in the Premier League. According to the media El Nacional, he would have serious touches with Newcastle United. The new rich of the English elite is ready to bank up to € 20 million to obtain his services during the winter transfer window.

A real boon for Barça

The Magpies also had their sights set on Lille’s Sven Botman, but the track leading to the former Lyon player seems to be more realistic.
