Emmerdale’s Matthew Wolfenden Returns To Soap As David Metcalfe With New Hair Transformation
EMMERDALE stars Matthew Wolfenden and Isabel Hodgins returned to the ITV soap last night.
Matthew, 41, who plays David Metcalfe, and Isabel, 28, who plays his lover Victoria Sugden, made a triumphant return with fans reacting en masse on Twitter.

Matthew sported a shock of newly highlighted hair, and many said he looked like English footballing legend Becks.

The pair were seen at Leeds studios in December.
Matthew and Isabel returned after investigating the racing line.

The pair had been absent from the set since September when it was claimed that a mixed-race actress had been upset by a comment and her accent was impersonated.
The Sun has learned that ITV bosses have accepted their explanation that the alleged remark and mimicry were « misheard ».
ITV said it had done a « rigorous investigation » but no formal action will be taken and they are now expected to return to the set.
