Egypt: Hadji Barry arrives at Future FC

Hadji Barry offers himself a new challenge. The Guinean striker signed on October 3, 2022 for the Egyptian club Future FC.

Seven full seasons and then he’s gone. Hadji Barry is no longer officially a Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC player. The Guinean player has signed up for Future FC. The announcement was made by the American club itself which specified that the Guinean striker represents the biggest sale in the history of the club without giving the figures.

« Hadji Barry is a Switchbacks legend after just two years, » said Switchbacks FC chairman Nick Ragain. This transfer for the main interested party was an opportunity not to be missed.
« Opportunities like these don’t come around often, so it was an easy decision for me, but bittersweet at the same time, because I really love this club, » he said.

Anyway, Hadji Barry will have to quickly put his feelings aside. From October 9, the Guinean and Future FC will play the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup against the Sierra Leonean club Kallon Football Club.

Last season, Hadji Barry played 30 games (16 goals and 9 assists) in MLS
