Drew Doughty returns to LA Kings lineup after knee injury
The LA Kings get a boost.
Defenseman Drew Doughty will return to the lineup on Tuesday night when the LA Kings face the Anaheim Ducks.
Doughty, 31, has missed the last 16 games after colluding with Dallas Stars defenseman Jani Hakanpaa on Oct. 22. The Kings defenseman suffered a bruise on play and was initially scheduled to miss eight weeks.
He started his 2021-22 campaign well, scoring one goal and seven points in four games.
