Draft: Bears trade No. 1 pick to Panthers
[ad_1]

The Bears were looking for a buyer for the first draft pick. It is now done. According to Ian Rapoport (NFL Network), the Panthers sold the house to recover the holy grail.
In exchange for the only first pick, the Bears get:
- 1st round 2023 (choice #9)
- 1st round 2024
- 2nd round 2023
- 2nd round 2025
- DJ Moore (WR)
Carolina will therefore have the choice of the king to select the quarterback of his dreams. Because there is no doubt that such a ransom can only be for a launcher.
The last time they found themselves in the same position was in 2011 when they selected quarterback Cam Newton, who won the MVP title 4 years later and took Carolina to the Super Bowl the same year.
The quarterbacks currently under contract in Carolina are Sam Darnold, PJ Walker and Matt Corral (selected last season in the 3rd round).
Bryce Young and CJ Stroud are now the two main candidates to be the future of the Panthers.
