Djordje Mihailovic named MVP


Midfielder Djordje Mihailovic received CF Montreal’s MVP on Tuesday, while defenseman Rudy Camacho took home the Defensive Player of the Year trophy.

Chosen following a vote by the club’s season subscribers, Mihailovic and Camacho received 80% and 58% of the votes respectively. The ballot was conducted from November 16 to 20.

Mihailovic, who won the Giuseppe-Saputo Trophy, collected 16 assists, just two short of Major League Soccer (MLS) leader in 2021, Carles Gil (18), of the Revolution de la New England.
