After two races at Daytona, the DAYTONA 500, then a road test, the NASCAR Premier Division remains in Florida. For this third week of the season, Homestead-Miami Speedway is on the program.
In the event of another winner this Sunday, it would be the third week in a row that such an event has happened. In history this has only happened three times, in 1949 with five different drivers winning in the first five races, then twice in 1950.
Christopher Bell, could in case of another victory become the fourth driver to win his first two consecutive victories. Dick Linder did it in 1950, Ned Jarrett in 1959, then Billy Wade in 1964. The latter even managed the feat of winning his first four consecutively, all in ten days!
