Leeds United are unlikely to renew their interest in Marseille striker Bamba Dieng this winter.
The Elland Road stadium club were extremely keen on securing Dieng during the summer transfer window.
Transfer journalist Jonathan Shrager says Leeds are not expected to make a new offer for Dieng in January.
The Senegal international is not part of Marseille’s Champions League squad for the group stages.
There is a possibility that he will sign for Nice thanks to the ‘joker’ rule in Ligue 1, which allows a player to sign for a club outside the transfer window.
However, there is no confirmation of that at the moment, and Dieng seems stuck at Marseille for now.
