Diego Costa signs for Wolverhampton… and announces it in a brilliant way

The Spanish international knows the Premier League well for having made the heyday of Chelsea. He agrees with Wolves until the end of the season.

The Spanish international striker Diego Costa, free of any contract signed Monday in favor of Wolverhampton until the end of the season, announced the English Premier League club.

Double champion of England with Chelsea, Costa, 33, returned to Brazil, his native country, to play with Atletio Mineiro in the last two seasons, was free of any contract. If he manages to settle some administrative formalities in time, he can be lined up on Saturday for the reception of Manchester City, as part of the 8th day.

Wolves, 14th in the Premier League after six rounds, have the league’s worst attack with three goals, and Costa could revive the team’s attacking sector. His recruitment comes after Austrian international striker Sasa Kalajdzic, recruited for 18 million euros in Stuttgart, suffered a knee ligament injury in his first game with Wolverhampton, against Southampton.
