DFS MPO MAPS – 03/27/23
Welcome to the DFO DFS Charts presented by the NHL Odds Betway site!
DailyFaceoff DFS Charts used to be a PREMIUM tool, but now we’re happy to offer it 100% FREE!
Charts are posted daily (Monday through Saturday) but are generally not available until all NHL lineups have been confirmed (approximately 3 p.m. ET). This year there will be three separate versions of the graphics, one for OwnersBox, one for DraftKings and one for FanDuel. The information is the same, but the site pricing differs. The links to these charts will change daily, so you will need to get the new links from the current day’s DFS chart release.

HOW TO READ GRAPHS
Default Totals

The implied totals for all games of the day that are included in the main DFS slate. The implied totals are the number of goals each team is expected to score based on the line of play and the Sportsbook total. Targeting players on the team with the highest implied totals is usually a good place to start.
Matchups and Matchup Score

Matches are based on historical data of how a home team deploys its 5-on-5 lines. The percentage is the projected percentage each line should face other lines.
The matchup score is calculated based on the difficulty of each matchup and the amount they are expected to face on each line. Each row’s match is weighted against all other matches on the slate and given a score from 1 to 100, with 100 representing the best match for offensive success.

Line statistics

Line stats show the offensive and defensive metrics for each line. O-Score and D-Score represent all metrics in a number weighted against the other rows of the slate. The higher the O-Score, the better that line is offensively. The same goes for D-Score. You want to target rows with high O scores that will face rows with negative or low D scores, which is represented in the match score above.
In this example, TBL1 is the slate’s best offensive line, and approximately 29% of their ice time should come against NYR2, which is the slate’s worst defensive line. This is a game you would expect TBL1 to dominate tonight.
Score 5 against 5

By using the expected TOI of each line, the confrontations and the statistics of the two teams and their opponents, we obtain a number: 5 against 5 Score. It represents which line has the best chance of high offensive output on that list. It also includes prizes for all three players on the line and a full line stack prize.
Defenders

A table that displays all active defenders expected to play on this list and makes it easy to identify the best plays.
- Floor – The player’s floor is based on their shot volume and blocked shots.
- Asset – A player’s asset is based on their ability to score goals, assists, shots and blocked shots.
- Average – Average of their low and high.
- Value – The value of players compared to average and salary.
- G/60 – Goals per 60 minutes (all situations)
- A/60 – Assists per 60 minutes (all situations)
- SOG/60 – Shots on goal every 60 minutes (all situations)
- BS/60 – Shots blocked every 60 minutes (all situations)
Goalkeepers

A table that displays all goalkeepers who should start on this list. There is a projection based on expected shot volume and winning percentage, and implied totals that come from the bookmaker. I also display the Points/$1000 in case you are looking for the best value between the pipes. And of course we display whether the keeper is confirmed, probable or unconfirmed… we are DailyFaceoff after all.
