In September, each year, the Decathlon sports store offers the opportunity to learn about dozens of different sports, for a day, during its Vitalsport operation. For this edition, the entertainment took place over two days and it was a real success: 7,500 visitors over the weekend!

The organizers, Justine Poudre and Victor, a student on an end-of-study internship, have been preparing for the event for six months because the associations had to be contacted well in advance.  » Vitalsport allows families, children and adults to discover several disciplines, to learn and to be able to choose their sport for the start of the school year. This event takes place thanks to the various local clubs that follow us and offer their initiation. It is a completely free event, open to all and, above all, accessible to all. This is why this year, we had three disabled sports present: athletics represented by Dimitri Jozwicki, French athlete, Paralympic who represents the colors of our country, table tennis with its disabled sports section and sitting volleyball represented by the association of Tourcoing, the TLM. »

Forty sports were represented. Not only the little visitors were able to try their hand at the climbing wall, combat sports, yoga or handball on a mini pitch, among other things, they were able to enjoy inflatable structures, a sandbox , free massages all day and wooden games.
