Danjuma walks away from the Premier League

Villarreal are in talks with West Ham United over the sale of Arnaut Danjuma, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer could be done for a fee of 40 million euros but there is still no agreement on the personal terms. And this movement is far from over.

Danjuma away from West Ham

Danjuma, 25, has had a superb 2021/22 season on an individual level. The forward has bagged 16 goals and four assists in 34 appearances in all competitions. He notably scored eleven and six goals during Villarreal’s qualification for the semi-finals of the Champions League. His contract at La Ceramica runs until the summer of 2026.

But it looks likely he could be on the way out this year. Last season, Villarreal finished seventh in La Liga and narrowly qualified for the Europa Conference League. Danjuma joined the Yellow Submarine last summer from Bournemouth. Before that, the Dutch international had cut his teeth at PSV, the NEC and Club Brugge.
