Daniel Ricciardo has an amazing encounter… with a bear

All pilots have different occupations in their free time. For Daniel Ricciardo, he was able to take advantage of the 15-day break from F1 after the Canadian Grand Prix, to spend a few days in Montana. While cycling in a national park, he came across a bear. He recounts this encounter:

We were cycling in a national park, when someone came to see us and said: “no, didn’t pass by there, there’s a bear in the area”. We waited a few minutes and then finally someone told us that it was a baby bear and that there was no problem.

He ends his anecdote with a touch of humour:

Anyway we had electric bikes so we could have escaped!
