Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s cut to the chase thanks to our friends at PointsBet Canada. Starting with the game between the Vancouver Canucks and the Seattle Kraken. The Canucks are one of four on the road so far this month and are aging into their second straight game. So far this season, the Kraken have a January home win record and if you’re going to give me that kind of juice on the Puckline, I’ll take it all day. It sits at +145 and is an ideal spot for the Kraken to host a Canucks team playing their second straight game.

The second game I like is also in the Western Conference and Pacific Division, we’re looking at the Edmonton Oilers who are big favorites to beat the St. Louis Blues. But, there’s no value on that, so I’m not setting -155 to take a team to the puckline. But, there’s one player I like in this game and that’s Zach Hyman. Hyman has eight assists in his last five games and eight apples in his last five and you gonna give me -130 for one in a game where they should score a ton against the Columbus Blue Jackets? Evander Kane is also out of training, which means Hyman could get a few more reps with the big guns. I like Hyman’s Assist and Hyman’s Shooting Attachment. All in on Zach Hyman, he’s hit that forehand in three of his last five games. No Kane means more minutes for Hyman and the NHL’s first star of the week is hot and I have no problem backing him on a few bets.
