- [ARI] Nathan Smith (C) was recalled from the AHL and is expected to make his season debut on Friday.
- [CBJ] Hunter McKown (C) is expected to make his NHL debut on Friday against the New York Islanders.
- [CBJ] Elvis Merzlikins (L) has returned to the Blue Jackets after taking personal leave and will return on Friday.
- [COL] Cale Makar (R) will return to the Avalanche roster on Friday (lower body).
- [COL] Erik Johnson (R) will be back in the Avalanche roster on Friday (ankle).
