Dach agrees for four years with the Canadiens
Kirby Dach signed a four-year contract worth $13.45 million with the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday. The deal has an average annual value of $3.36 million.

The Canadians had to give up the defender Alexander Romanov to the New York Islanders to get their hands on the 13th overall pick before sending him to the Blackhawks.
Dach set NHL career highs in goals (9), assists (17) and points (26) in 70 games with the Blackhawks last season.
Drafted by Chicago third overall in 2019, Dach has 59 points (19 goals, 40 assists) in 152 regular season games and six points (one goal, five assists) in nine Stanley Cup Playoff games .
