Covid-19: an additional dose required for NBA players and coaches | NBA

The pandemic is rebounding in many countries, cases of Covid-19 are identified in the NBA, and The Athletic announces that the league and the players’ union recommend that all players, coaches and supervisory staff receive an additional dose of vaccine.

This applies to all those who received their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine more than six months ago, but also those who received the single dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine two months or more ago.

According to our colleagues, players who will not receive this additional Johnson & Johnson dose by December 1 will have to be tested again before each game. At the end of August, we had already learned that the referees were obliged to undergo an additional dose.
