Colts: Carson Wentz could miss up to 6 games!

The Indianapolis quarterback will finally go through the surgery box.

Frank Reich had tried to minimize Carson Wentz’s foot injury. Finally, the Colts passer is not going to play the card of rest, and according to NFL Media will have to undergo an operation to have a bone removed. According to ESPN, projections see him unavailable for 5 to 12 weeks.

In the best case, Wentz can therefore still consider being ready for the start of the season. However, camps and preseason games are definitely out of reach.

Behind Jacob Eason, drafted in the fourth round in 2020, the Colts have Sam Ehlinger (6th round, 2021), Jalen Morton (non-drafted, 2020) and Brett Hundley to take over.
