Christian Benteke flies to MLS

After six seasons and 177 matches played in the red-and-blue jersey, the Belgian international striker Christian Benteke ends his story at Crystal Palace. Under contract until 2023, the Red Devil with 45 caps (18 goals) left the Eagles to join DC United, a resident of MLS, where he signed up until December 2024.
“DC United have signed the permanent transfer of Belgian international striker Christian Benteke from Crystal Palace (English Premier League). Benteke will join the club as a Designated Player pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
