Even before their last match in Newcastle, Toulouse Olympique wins the Championship and is guaranteed to finish first. The French clubs achieve the double.

It’s a historic double. After the first place of the Catalans Dragons in the Super League, the RFL confirmed the first place of Toulouse Olympique. A confirmation linked to the fact that the Toulousains could only play 13 games, all of their home games having been postponed. But being still undefeated, it allows them to stay in first place and win the general classification. As for the Catalan Dragons, Toulouse will therefore play its semi-final at home and, in case of victory, the accession final also at the Ernest-Wallon stadium!
