Canine sport: the Trégueusiens shine in the French championship – Trégueux
Nice trip than the one made this Easter weekend by the members of the canine sports club of Trégueux in the North for the two days of competition in the French championship. « We were the best represented club in Class 1 and 3 where we had mixed fortunes », notes Jacques Rebillard the president. The latter achieved almost the perfect course on tracking, obedience and protection by totaling 282 points out of the 300 possible.
“You have to try to be as consistent as possible and there, with the first big heat, we had an additional handicap. I did well by winning the title with my dog Pâris; my club teammate Jean-Jacques Lucas finished, with Pélem, vice-champion of France with 375 points. Dominique André, with Nana, is to be credited with a good thirteenth place in a high category with 26 entries”.
