CAN: The TV rights acquired by Sportklub in the Balkans (AB) | Africa football

Sportklub has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights in the Balkan region (including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia) for the next two editions of the African Cup of Nations as well as the 2022 and 2023 knockout stages. The 2021 edition of the CAN will be played in Cameroon between January 9 and February 6, 2022, while the 2023 edition will be played in Côte d ‘Ivory in 2023.

As part of this agreement, matches will be broadcast on Sportklub’s linear channels, with strong promotion on the group’s digital platforms. CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba said: “This period heralds a new era for African football and once again we see many partners joining us to be a part of this journey. The African Cup of Nations and the CAF Champions League. Sportklub is part of United Media, a leading media company in South East Europe with 5 national broadcasters and over 50 pay TV channels, a digital portfolio of 28 web portals, newspapers, magazines and radio stations.
