Daily Faceoff prospects expert Steven Ellis had this to say about Stromgren:

« Stromgren is a fast skater and has a nice 6-foot-3 frame. He sees the ice well and if he manages to get ahead of his teammates, he always finds a way to make things happen. He plans to be a hard-working final six striker.”

Stromgren is Calgary’s second Collegiate/European signing at this point in the season where the Collegiate and European teams are done for the year, also signing Matthew Coronato on Sunday. They still have seven players on their roster that they need to sign by June 1 or August 15 before losing the rights to those players.
