Calgary Flames sign William Stromgren to three-year entry-level contract

With the signing, Stromgren has also accepted an amateur tryout and will report to Flames AHL affiliate Calgary Wranglers on Thursday.

Stromgren leaves the SHL, where he has three goals, five assists and eight points in 45 games for Brynas IF Gavle, as well as one assist in five games in the best-of-seven relegation series against the Malmo Redhawks, which Brynas lost 4-1 and was relegated to HockeyAllsvenskan.
