Normally, a Ferrari from the brand’s « normal » catalog does not immediately increase in value. So how could this brand new SF90 already double its own?
Believe it or not, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale offers one of the best price-performance ratios on the market. With its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 assisted by three electric motors, it develops 1,000 horsepower and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h almost as fast as a Bugatti Chiron. This Italian super sports car, capable of beating a Ferrari LaFerrari and almost all current supercars on the circuit, costs €443,513 in base price. Or the same price as a less efficient Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, and almost ten times less than a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport!
It is also not a special model limited to a small series. Which means that, unlike the most sought-after Ferraris on the market, the value of the SF90 Stradale isn’t likely to rise anytime soon. This white copy offered for sale in the United States by Mecum is nevertheless displayed at an estimated sale price of between 950,000 and 1.1 million dollars (i.e. 970,000€ in the high range)!
Only 91 kilometers on the clock
It must be said that it only displays 91 kilometers on the odometer and that Ferrari’s traditionally long delivery times may be enough to encourage some customers to pay more to avoid having to wait. But from there to doubling the value of the car…
