Bubba Wallace on pole – NASCAR Cup Series

The only driver with three top 10 finishes in the last three races in the NASCAR Cup Series, Bubba Wallace continued his momentum with a pole in Michigan.
Bubba Wallace continues the top 10 in the NASCAR Cup Series. Still looking for his first victory this season, the 23XI Racing driver took pole at the Michigan International Speedway, his very first in the NASCAR Cup Series. He is the only one to pass the 190 mph average mark over one lap. His last pole in a NASCAR national series dates back to the Dover event in the spring of 2015 in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
This pole is also the first for 23XI Racing, the team founded by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan.
Bubba Wallace will therefore start from pole and will share the first row of the starting grid with Christopher Bell. Kyle Busch and Joey Logano will be on the second row. Rookie Austin Cindric and the latest winner, Tyler Reddick, will start on the third row. Martin Truex Jr, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin and Erik Jones complete the top 10.
Ty Gibbs sets the eleventh fastest time ahead of Noah Gragson. In search of victory this year, Ryan Blaney will start from twenty-fourth place, while Brad Keselowski will only be thirty-third.
