Bronny reveals what LeBron told him after his card at Staples Center
Shining in his high school game in Los Angeles, Bronny James also performed on a large scale in front of his father. LeBron also wanted to give him feedback after the meeting! The young boy recently unveiled the content.
It was a life-size test for him, especially vis-à-vis his father. Not only was Bronny James playing at the Lakers’ Staples Center for his recent game with Sierra Canyon, he was also up against St. Vincent-St. Mary, who had hosted James in High School at the time. The pressure was therefore great for the young boy … but he is apparently not very different from his father, since he totally mastered his subject in the victory of his family (71-53):
LeBron James to Bronny: « Loved everything you did »
In total, the young phenomenon scored 19 points, thus becoming the best scorer of the meeting. A nice performance, especially since he made it in front of a group of stars present in the room ! Obviously, however, it is the fact of shining in front of his quadruple champion father that must have been the most important for him, the latter never hesitating to highlight his exploits.
Unsurprisingly, the King was in fact delighted by the show offered by his son, facing his former high school. Basically acting as a personal coach for Bronny, he was quick to go and give him feedback as soon as the final whistle was blown. The son in particular relayed to the microphone of Yahoo sports, explaining that the winger had only had positive things to say about his performance:
It was special to play on the same field where he played. It gives me a lot of confidence, and it was a really exceptional game for me. After the game, he just told me that he loved everything I was doing, my composure and my pace of play on the pitch.
Now, we must continue this momentum for the young player, who begins to build a sacred record before joining the university ranks. Unlike his dad, he just might show up in the NCAA, unless he chooses another path to turn pro. Either way, he will be under scrutiny until the moment of his draft, and many are hoping to see him play alongside the Chosen One before he retires. It would be pretty crazy!
LeBron is both his son’s biggest fan and harshest critic, but his performance at Staples Center has won him over in every aspect. Clearly, his offspring has something to be proud of!
