Brad Keselowski on pole in Texas

At Texas Motor Speedway, Brad Keselowski took pole position in the opening round of the second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

For the opening of the second round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, at Texas Motor Speedway, Brad Keselowski took pole position in 28.573 seconds at an average of 188.990 mph. The Roush Fenway Racing driver and owner is building on the momentum of his teammate, Chris Buescher, who won last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Brad Keselowski signs his first pole position of the season, his eighteenth in career. The previous one dated back to Richmond’s second race during the 2019 season.

Brad Keselowski will share the front row of the starting grid with his former Team Penske teammate Koey Logano. William Byron and Tyler Reddick will be on the second row of the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500, the thirtieth round of the NASCAR Cup Series season.

Michael McDowell, Chase Elliott, Austin Dillon, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson and Daniel Suárez complete the top 10 of this qualifying session.

Among the title contenders, rookie Austin Cindric and Ross Chastain are in sixth row. Ryan Blaney sets the fourteenth time, Alex Bowman is seventeenth, Bubba Wallace nineteenth, Christopher Bell twenty-second and Chase Briscoe thirtieth.
