Bollywood actor commits suicide, actress ex-girlfriend arrested

Last June, Bollywood star actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment. The police concluded it was a suicide. While the family denied their son’s depression, they accused his ex-girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, of stalking him. She was arrested, along with her brother and a member of the victim’s household staff, this Tuesday, September 8 in India.

Actress is accused of buying drugs from Sushant Singh Rajputas the anti-narcotics police investigate alongside the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The deceased had become famous in 2013 with the film Kai Po Che!. It was particularly well received at the Berlin film festival. On the same theme, cricket, he had played Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a successful biopic. Her last role was in a Hindi remake of the American film Our opposite starsreleased in July.
