OWelcome to Betway Daily Betting brought to you by NHL betting odds site Betway!
The Dallas Stars forced a game five in a thrilling 3-2 overtime win on Thursday night. Joe Pavelski scored the game-winning goal on the power play and now has 73 career playoff goals, one more than Alex Ovechkin’s 72 for the lead among all active NHL players.
Jason Robertson was the difference maker for the Stars, scoring two goals and recording a postseason record 11 shots. For reference, in Carolina and Florida’s quadruple marathon overtime game, Brandon Montour led both teams with eight shots. Robertson scored 11 in 63 minutes.
Jake Oettinger had a solid rebound for the Stars after being taken out in Game 4 after allowing three goals on five shots, Oettinger responded with a 39-save effort in Game 4 to keep his team alive.
The Golden Knights still lead the series 3-1 and continue to get great goaltending from Aiden Hill who made 39 saves to earn Third Star honors in the losing effort.
Game 5 will be at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas, here’s a bet on which goalie I like for tonight’s game.
goalie accessory
Jake Oettinger will make over 27.5 saves at -110
Vegas will be looking to close out this series tonight to avoid returning to Dallas for Game 6. We all know the immense pressure that also comes with going from a 3-0 series to a 3-2 lead like we’re seeing in the NBA right now with the Miami Heat, so I expect the Knights reprimand Oettinger with shots. and it will be up to him to keep his team in the game.
Oettinger made 33 saves in Game 1 in Vegas and I expect a similar tally tonight, three of four games in this series have gone to overtime and, as we know, that helps inflate the numbers. I ride with the overs tonight and I’m confident.
Bet on the last game
Jake Oettinger will make over 25.5 saves at -125
Oettinger made 39 saves and the hit, we’re now 12-9 going into the playoffs.
