The 23rd Sport and Culture Forum of Cahorsin the Batchwas a real success. 3,800 entries accounted for with a young audience and a demand for many sporting activities. Already at noon, 1,600 visitors had strolled through the aisles to discover the stands.
New sports village
It took place as usual at the Lucien-Desprats stadium but with a new configuration of the Village Sport. The expansion of circulation areas was welcome and seems to have been appreciated by the public and the 72 sports associations present.
Workshops and demonstrations
The workshops such as billiards, chess, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, fencing, XIII armchair among others were in the center of the stands and clearly visible. Others near their stand, boxing, cycling, fencing, aikido, taekwondo riding were also prominent. The public was able to try out all these disciplines.
The 2022/2023 version « Le Sport du Grand Cahors de A à Z » directory has been offered to more than 700 people, and is still available in Grand Cahors town halls and social centres.
The success of this forum is a great reward for the volunteers of the Office du Sport du Grand Cahors who have been working there for several months. This success is to be shared with Le Service des Sports du Grand Cahors. These same volunteers will immediately look into the 2023 version.
