Barça want to send Clément Lenglet to the Premier League

Teams like Everton and West Ham would have inquired about the situation of the French defender Clement Lenglet.

At Barça, management is looking to reduce its payroll and sell players. Executives are looking to balance the books so that they can validate Leo Messi’s contract extension.

Gerard Romero, journalist for ‘RAC1’, commented that Barca would seek a club for Lenglet on the Premier League side. But despite making contact withEverton and West Ham, neither of the two clubs should be the Frenchman’s destination.

What is clear for Barça is that the club where he will go will have to pay his fees in full. They will not pay a single euro out of their pocket for the defender. The formula considered by the Catalan club would be a loan with a compulsory purchase option once certain objectives have been achieved.

According to ‘Mundo Deportivo’, the center-back would not have no intention of leaving Catalonia, where he feels good. His plans would therefore be very different from those of Barça.
