Atlantic offers two collective thermodynamic DHW solutions
The manufacturer is expanding its range of collective domestic hot water production with 100% thermodynamic solutions, which offer up to 60% energy savings compared to traditional DHW production.
Hydrapac 2, with electric back-up, and Hydramax Gaz 2, with gas back-up, are two new thermodynamic DHW production systems for the collective proposed by Atlantic. Hydrapac 2 consists of an outdoor unit, a hydraulic station and a storage tank (with emergency resistance keeping the DHW at 55 ° C minimum). Hydramax Gaz 2 also includes, in addition, a boiler and a preparatory tank.
In new construction, Hydrapac 2 operates in permanent mode by supporting loopback. Thanks to the absence of a loop heater and reduced DHW storage, performance is optimized up to around thirty dwellings. The DHW tank is maintained at temperature in the face of draw-offs and looping losses. The building can be heated in 100% electric.

During renovation, it is possible to use Hydrapac 2 in time slot mode, with an independent loop heater. The production of DHW is done by accumulation during an 8 hour charge. The tank stores all of the daily DHW needs.

Suitable for new or renovation, the Hydramax Gaz 2 solution operates in time slot mode, with gas back-up provided by a boiler coupled to a Corflow-type hot water tank. The loop return is managed in the gas preparation tank.
