At 63, Magic Johnson reveals his incredible pace of life!

Known for his unbridled life away from the field during his NBA career, Magic Johnson remains as active as he is now over 60 years old. On the other hand, his focus today is very different from a few decades ago, the legend recently sharing some details about his daily life.

In many ways, Magic Johnson is a fascinating figure in basketball history. Not only because he amazed the basketball world for years during the Showtime era of the Lakers, but also because paradoxically, the point guard led a totally uninhibited life far from the floors during his career. Whether it’s sex or drugsthe Hall of Famer knew almost everything during the 80s.

Having passed his sixties today, the legend of the Pourpres et Ors obviously can no longer support such a lifestyle. On the other hand, he never thought of continuing like this once he retired, he who has since embarked on the business world. Recently on the podcast All The SmokeMagic revealed that his daily life is completely different now… but no less intense, he who works every day in order to make a profit:

The crazy discipline of Magic Johnson at 63

My father always insisted that everything I was going to achieve in life, I had to do it by working. So I am a worker. I like to work, I go to bed early. Like the show right now, it’s late for me. I made it for you guys because I love you so much. I’m in bed at 8:30 p.m. I’m up at 4 a.m. every morning. I train for 2 hours. One hour of strength training and one hour of cardio. And then I’m in the office all day.

What you have to understand is that when you want to set up a business that works, you have to make profits when people are sleeping. That’s what I do. I make money when people sleep. And that’s what we have to do. And so for me, there’s nothing good happening for me after 8:30 p.m. This may be the case for everyone else, but not for me. I go to sleep to be ready for the next day.

A particularly admirable work ethic, which has above all paid off. Because the former teammate of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is today one of the most successful sportsmen/businessmen in history, having wisely invested his money over the years. As he has also surrounded himself with competent business partners, he is even able to afford sports franchises, which he is trying to Faure on the side of the NFL in particular with the Denver Broncos.

40 years ago, Magic Johnson spent his nights partying after his many victories with the Lakers. From now on, he goes to bed very early and maintains an almost military discipline, which allows him to find himself once again above the fray. Respect !
