AS NIGELEC of Niger welcomes Raja Club of Casablanca (Morocco) – Le Sahel


After a successful first round back and forth, the Nigerian Club of AS NIGELEC will face, on Saturday October 8, 2022 at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey, the Moroccan club Raja of Casablanca. A big challenge for the electricians because they will face a large and experienced club used to competition. But the technical management of AS Nigelec and the club’s officials are hard at work to put the players in the best conditions in order to offer the Nigerien a victory at home while waiting for the return to Casablanca.

Mobilization is on the way. To this end, the Director General of NIGELEC offers free entry to the Stade General Seyni Kountché to supporters to come and support and push AS NIGELEC to the feat.

A few weeks ago, AS Nigelec qualified against the SOAR Academy of Guinea. The Association Sportive Nationale de la Nigelec is a Nigerian football club based in Niamey and founded in 2005. This young club has a track record that reflects its age. Once Champion of Niger for the past season 2021-2022, vice-champion of Niger for the 2014 season, Winner only once of the National Cup of Niger in 2013, finalist of the Super Cup 2013. In African competition, the club has took his first steps in the Confederation Cup in 2014. He was eliminated on the 1er preliminary round. This year AS Nigelec is participating in the campaign for the African Champions League.
