Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka sparks a lot of interest
Clubs have reportedly started approaching Bukayo Saka for an interesting potential transfer to the growing youngster. However, Arsenal are confident to keep him.
Transfer interest for Bukayo Saka is high
Arsenal want to build around Saka for the future
First emerging under Unai Emery in 2019, Saka is improving and now playing in Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal squad. Last season, the England international played 46 times for Arsenal. The transfer interest surrounding Saka is testament to his potential, but Arsenal are confident he will stay.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Saka is on the radar of many clubs. Speaking on the Here We Go podcast, Romano explained the situation: “Some clubs are starting to approach Bukayo Saka, Arsenal consider him untouchable. Romano also believes Arsenal will build around Saka for years to come.
Saka signed a contract in 2020 which will see him stay with the club until 2024. The long-term deal gives Arsenal the upper hand in all transfer negotiations. Upon signing the deal, Mikel Arteta said: “Bukayo is a talented and intelligent young player. He impressed me with his work ethic and attitude to learn and adapt, and it paid off in his performance. I am delighted to continue working with him to develop it further and for him to help us achieve our goals. «
Saka stays in Southgate plans
Saka is an incredible talent who played his part in bringing England to a European Championship final. However, Saka didn’t shine as brightly as the rest of the squad. In truth, he struggled to display his potential, often appearing raw and inexperienced. It was probably the pressure of an international tournament that got the better of him. But there is no shame in bending under the pressure, and the Euro 2020 tournament has been a learning experience for the young man.
Saka missing a penalty in the final unfortunately hurt some fans the most. Social media abuse is all too common and Saka has suffered the brunt of it. Faced with scandalous racist abuse, real fans have rallied to that of the youngster. Showing maturity beyond his years, Saka denounced the abuse: “To social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and Twitter: I don’t want a child or an adult to receive the hateful and hurtful messages that I, Marcus and Jadon have received. »
The stars are the limit of Arsenal’s greatest asset.
