Arsenal would covet a former Lille player
In search of a striker for next season, Arsenal leaders are turning to Liverpool. Divock Origi would indeed be in the sights of the Gunners.
Little used in Liverpool, Divock Origi was often announced on departure. But despite reduced playing time since the end of 2019, the former Lille player has remained at Liverpool. However, he could decide to leave next summer. And Arsenal would be interested in the Belgian international according to information from Football London.
Divock Origi to succeed Aubameyang or Lacazette?
Divock Origi has the advantage of being free at the end of June and therefore free for the club that will host it. Arsenal will be looking for a successor to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who left for FC Barcelona in January. Uncertainty also hangs over the future of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
A substitute role at Arsenal?
The Belgian forward wouldn’t come to the Gunners as a main striker but the fact that he’s available on a free transfer means he’d be a great acquisition to be a rotational striker, the English outlet say. Will the former LOSC striker be satisfied with it?
