The Gunners are looking to bring in Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic in the winter transfer window.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal FC are undoubtedly the surprise of the Premier League. The Gunners entered the September international break top of the table. But the leaders of the London club do not intend to rest on their laurels. They want to make a new qualitative leap in order to confirm Arsenal as a clear candidate for the title of champion of England.

To achieve this, the English club is already preparing 100 million euros to try to sign Dusan Vlahovic, 22, this winter. The Serbian footballer reportedly wants to leave in January, just a season after Juventus signed him for €75m from Fiorentina. The Italian club are in disarray this season and have just broken the sad record of the heaviest deficit in the history of Serie A. Although the striker has scored four goals in the Italian league, his performances are out of step with those of his teammates.

A check for € 115 million to bend an indebted Juve

Vlahovic is, along with Erling Haaland, one of the hottest strikers on the European football scene. Arsenal knows that it will therefore probably be necessary to pay 100 M€ to dislodge him from Juve, however indebted they may be. The Gunners are also targeting Fabio Miretti, one of the latest gems to emerge from Juventus’ academy. The midfielder is still just a promising prospect. But Arsenal is ready to add 15 million for this player and therefore offer a global envelope of 115 M€ to the Old Lady, starting this winter.

Hard to refuse… and yet. The Italian press denies this departure. But we know that when it comes to the transfer window, a denial is not worth much.
