Armenia – Premier League (J8): Kodia and Bakayoko carry Gyumri against FC Noah
Shirak Gyumri surprised FC Noah at home on Friday, September 16 as part of the 8th day of the Armenian Premier League. The Black Panthers won 3-1, with goals from their Ivorians Donald Alvine Kodia and Moussa Bakayoko.
Donald Alvine Kodia and Moussa Bakayoko carried the Shirak Gyumri against FC Noah by signing a goal each. After a score of 1-1 in the first half, the two Ivorians folded the game in the second period. First it was 19-year-old Donald Alvine Kodia who gave his club the lead in the 67th minute. Four minutes later, 25-year-old Moussa Bakayoko knocked out FC Noah’s Grays and Whites for good, bringing the score to 3-1.
Donald Alvine Kodia and Moussa Bakayoko find the net for the first time this season. Thanks to them, Shirak Gyumri put an end to a series of six unsuccessful games in a row. The Black Panthers are 8th with 8 points. While FC Noah is 10th with 2 points.
