Argentina’s president will not travel to Qatar for the World Cup final


Argentina’s head of state, Alberto Fernandez, announced on his social media on Saturday that he would not travel to Qatar on Sunday (4 p.m.) for the World Cup final between France and Argentina.

Argentinian President Alberto Fernandez said on Saturday that he would not go to the Argentina-France final, unlike his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, suggesting between the lines a superstition factor, by which he would not want to jinx the selection.
