The succession of the Montreal Canadiens offers us good hockey at the start of the season. In addition to Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky and Sam Montembeault, another youngster stands out on the ice: Arber Xhekaj.
His name is not the easiest to pronounce, but he is now known to the hockey world. Out of nowhere, the 21-year-old defender wasted no time in making his mark.
We had a taste of it during the preparatory calendar.

The CH needed a guy like Xhekaj. From the top of his 6 feet and 4 inches and his 238 pounds, the new darling of the supporters of the CH does not hesitate to stir the cage to be respected and to throw the gloves to defend his.
Zack Kassian will think twice before accepting another invitation to dance.

Another Xhekaj makes his mark
Fans of Wifi will be happy to learn that he has a younger brother and that they both come from the same mould.
18-year-old Florian Xhekaj rocks the OHL with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Recently, the Habs and NHL gang drew my attention to this video in which #43 comes to blows with Rodwin Dionicio of the IceDogs:
Even if he currently displays only 185 pounds on the scale, like his brother, the 6-foot-2 Bulldogs forward does not let himself be imposed.
The next fight broke out in a game a few days later, on October 8. Blake Smith of the Oshawa Generals did well.
Imagine two Xhekaj in the same formation.
