Apple lowers MLS Season Pass price for mid-season

Apple has reduced the price of the MLS Season Pass, which allows you to watch North American league football matches from the Apple TV application. The decrease is explained by the period.

Indeed, the MLS is currently in the middle of the season, so Apple has decided to lower the price. It’s 69€ per season normally. For the remaining season, the price drops to €29. This practice of changing the price according to the period exists with other distributors. Amazon Prime Video, for example, does not charge its Ligue 1 subscribers during the offseason.

As for monthly pricing, Apple remains at €11.99 for Apple TV+ subscribers or €13.99 for non-subscribers. The rate change concerns those who take the full season. Apple goes from €69 to €29 for Apple TV+ subscribers and from €89 to €39 for non-subscribers.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of services, said he’s very proud of the MLS offering (via):

I’m very proud and happy with what we’ve achieved so far, but I’m sure the best is yet to come. It’s been a great few months for such a quick turnaround. So I’m incredibly proud of everyone on our team and everyone in the league – the teams, the players and the owners have helped make this start to the season a huge success.
