Nicknamed the  » MLS Season Pass“, the subscription gives you access to all MLS matches, live and on demand. The service is priced at $14.99 per month or $99 per season. TV+ subscribers will be able to watch select games free of charge and will be able to get the full MLS Season Pass at a discounted price: $12.99 per month or $79 per season.

Like Apple TV+, the MLS Season Pass can be shared with up to six people using the Family Sharing feature. Customers can cancel and re-subscribe at any time.

As a bonus, a free MLS Season Pass subscription will be included with stadium passes for all MLS teams. Additionally, select matches will be streamed completely free on the Apple TV app for anyone to watch, including all opening weekend matches on February 25.

The MLS Season Pass will stream all MLS and League Cup matches, as well as most MLS Next Pro and MLS NEXT matches. There are no regional restrictions and the service will be available in over 100 countries at launch.

Each match will come with a pre and post match, and the service will also host a live show on match days. After the match, matches can be watched anytime and other content will also be available, such as highlights.

Matches will be broadcast simultaneously in English and Spanish, with dedicated teams for each language. Local club commentary will be available as an audio option in the TV app. Canadian team games will also be broadcast in French.

The MLS Season Pass can be accessed through the Apple TV app, available on Apple devices, smart TVs, PlayStation, Xbox, set-top boxes such as Comcast Xfinity and other devices. You can also watch the game through a web browser at tv.apple.com. The Apple TV app is coming to Windows PCs next year. However, there is no Android app.

The full MLS season schedule will be announced in mid-December. To provide the best experience for viewers, most matches will take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with kick-off at 7:30 p.m. local time. The pre-show will start half an hour earlier.

The agreement between Apple and MLS has a duration of ten years, until 2032. The agreement also includes marketing solutions, such as the affixing of the Apple TV logo on all the jerseys of the teams.

Apple will pay around $250 million a year for the rights, with additional revenue going to the league based on subscriber goals.
