Anderson and Farrell shut out in World Championship loss


MONTREAL – Josh Anderson and Sean Farrell had no points for their respective countries at the World Hockey Championship on Monday.

Anderson had a shot on goal in 13:43 of playing time in Canada’s 3-2 loss to Denmark.

Hope Frederik Dichow saw his compatriot Sebastian Dahm defend the net of the Danes in the victory of his.

It was Canada’s second straight loss.

Farrell meanwhile failed to get a shot in 8:23 on the ice, as the Americans lost 1-0 to the Czech Republic.

The defender Jordan Harris has yet to play a match for the United States in the international tournament.

Tuesday promises to be a busy day for the Habs, as the preliminary round draws to a close.

The American team will face Norway at 9:20 a.m. ET, at the same time as Denmark will face Slovakia.

Canada and France as well as Finland Joel Armia and Czechia meet at 1:20 p.m. ET.
