[Anciens] Paul Lasne tempted by Italy and Serie B

Having left Montpellier Hérault at Stade Brestois in the summer of 2019, Paul Lasne will reach the end of his contract in June. The former Pailladin, aged 33 today, does not count on a contract extension in Brittany and makes calls to Italy:

“I think I have covered the question in Ligue 1. […] I’ve been playing in Ligue 1 for maybe 11 years. My desire is to discover foreign countries and put family life a little more at the centre. Despite my ambitions in football, it is important to rebalance things. My family made concessions. Seeing another football culture, allowing my children to speak another language, I like that. I never had the opportunity to play abroad in my career. I have a job that offers the possibility of discovering foreign countries. Why deprive yourself of it? […] It will depend on the opportunities but like that, Italy is the first country that comes to mind whether it’s Serie A or Serie B. We see that in Serie B, there is a good championship (smile). We’ll see. »
