After a six-month loan to Barnsley in the Championship, Moroccan midfielder Amine Bassi signed his return to FC Metz last summer with the hope of winning there.
A few months later, Bassi, does not seem to really figure in the plans of Laszlo Bölöni who has granted him a total of 123 minutes of playing time since the start of the season. Amine Bassi could soon leave France and FC Metz to join the North American championship.
According to information from the journalist, Tom Bogert, the leaders of Houston are in the process of finalizing the transfer of the Moroccan midfielder trained at ASNL. Bassi is expected to sign on a two-year contract, plus an optional extra.
Arrived free in Metz, Amine Bassi never managed to win in the garnet jersey. Only 6 months after signing his 3-season contract, the former Atlas Cubs was loaned to Barnsley in the Championship, a team with which he was able to find playing time before his relegation to League One.
